Kuala Lumpur: The Agriculture and Agro Based Industries Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob should have thought out his call to boycott Chinese traders, said former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
"He probably did not think out what he said and may not have made the statement if he had considered what he was going to say," he said.
Dr M said this here today after installing the national heritage plaque for the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia.
